Exports

🤔 If we export, is it enough for us, the Argentines, to consume? Why do we all need exports? Do they influence our daily lives? Where do we rank and where do we rank today in exports in the world? Could we export more?

Selling to the world is imperative for our country's and our own development and growth. 🚀.

🚢 We all benefit from exports. They bring us jobs, better services, infrastructure, health, help to alleviate our recurrent crises, generate the dollars we need, and help us to improve the quality of life of our people. 💵 that allow us to buy everything that we do not produce here (vaccines, state-of-the-art equipment for diagnosis and treatment of diseases, high-tech supplies, etc.). 🧪etc.).

Agro-industrial exports (which we call the bioeconomy to encompass its breadth and potential) accounted for 69% of the country's total exports in recent months. 📊. 7 out of every 10 dollars we need so badly. More than 38 billion. In terms of employment, the beef export circuit alone (of which there has been so much talk in recent months) generates 100,000 jobs. 😱. To give you an idea: the entire automotive chain, including employees of dealerships, auto parts, etc. generates 96,000 jobs. (The entire meat chain 700,000, and the beef chain alone 420,000).

On the other hand, there are industries with a very negative foreign trade balance that spend a lot of dollars, while in the bioeconomy chains (two thirds of the total), less than 10 % of what is exported is imported.

Of the more than 38 billion dollars generated by the bioeconomy, 68% comes from the grain chains. 🌽16.5% of regional economies 🍇9,5% meats 🥩3% Dairy 🥛 and 3% of other products.

These seemingly distant figures are the key kick-start for the creation of new jobs. 🙌🏼.

Grains, weed 🧉, fishing 🍤, fruits 🥝The bioeconomy, wool, dairy products and much more are produced in every corner of our country, making the bioeconomy a federal activity that generates productive wealth in every province of Argentina.

❗️It's not just numbers, it's development.

Until the outbreak of World War II, Argentina's share in total global trade ranged between 2 and 3 %. Today it represents 0.34%. 👎🏼. A 2 % share would be equivalent to exports of around 346 billion dollars, six times the current level. The recurrent crises that our economy has accumulated over the last few decades are centred on the dollar deficit that our economy suffers and that always end in default, devaluations and inflation, which does not happen in any of the countries that reached our level of development a century ago.

In bioeconomy, Argentina can triple its exports ✖️3️⃣. Reach USD 200,000. Not with the same matrix, we are not talking about tripling the surface or yields of soya or maize, but we can transform them into something worth three times as much, such as meat. We can also produce new bioeconomy products: bioinputs, bioplastics ... and many more possible! 🙌🏼We will be telling you about them every month in our posts and webinars.

As citizens we must inform ourselves 📚We want to know what and how we need to do to become a prosperous country that includes us all. We no longer want to hear "fighting poverty" as an empty partisan slogan, but, through a concrete plan, to take action, generate wealth and circulate it. 🔄.
