In Argentina 🇦🇷, until 2020, we had five: Globant, Despegar, OLX, Mercado Libre and Auth0. In 2021, despite being the second year of the pandemic, six more were added: Bitfarms, Vercel, Aleph, Mural, Ualá and Tiendanube.
The pandemic economic crisis was a real catalyst for digital creativity in our country 🚀. Argentine talent was able to seize the opportunity and overcome the difficulties to generate successful products and services.

Mercado Libre 🤝, the oldest of the unicorn companies, employs more than 8500 Argentines, in 2020 it generated 61 jobs per day in Latin America, making it one of the largest generators of employment in recent years, which is also considered one of the best places to work in the world.
